Unit/Department you will be part of
Sourcing at Husqvarna is organized in several functions securing quality, delivery, cost efficiency and sustainability of supply. One of the key functions within Sourcing is Commodity Management, which focuses on managing all direct material commodities and related commercial relationships with suppliers.


Your future challenge
The Operational Purchaser is part of the Plastics & Packaging Commodity team.
The primary responsibility for this position will be to support the Plastic Components commodity, working closely with the responsible Commodity Manager. The Plastic Component commodity is currently in an interesting and challenging phase where the possibility to influence the future is high.

Your role is to
. Responsible for approve invoices maintain and update pricelists
. Product maintenance, take over after NPD closure (End-gate)
. Product maintenance interface between R&D and sourcing
. Grow Be part of implementing the Plastic Component commodity strategy
. Be a vital part in the business transfer plans, phase-out/phase-in of suppliers with all connected activities
. Build and maintain relationships with internal customers and other functions to ensure
continuous improvement and that service level commitments are met.
. For the right person there is a possibility to grow into taking responsibility for certain suppliers.


Who you are
Education and Experience
. We expect you to have a university degree or equivalent experience of purchasing work, experience of having worked with operational sourcing in the manufacturing industry is considered as a strong advantage.
. Fluency in English is required (written and oral), fluency in additional languages is an advantage.


Desired Skills
. Strong planning, organization, analytical, and problem solving skills
. Knowledge and experience with software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) including presentation and database applications.
. Written and verbal communications skills
. Strong interpersonal skills (e.g., tact/diplomacy, listening, negotiation, etc).
. Understanding the importance of customer service and internal stakeholder management
. As a person you are result oriented and an active and distinct team player.
