Om kunden:

Tourism Group operate the red Hop On Hop Off sightseeing buses in Stockholm, Copenhagen and Berlin. In 2018 the company was taken over by Tourism Group International and are now based in Amsterdam. Since the takeover, the company has expanded with more staff, products and vehicles. Tourism Group in Stockholm now oversee 17 buses and 5 cruise boats. The office is located in Gamla Stan, close to their operation and business. The business is depending of the seasons, with the main work peak during the summer period when most tourists come to visit Stockholm.
You will be a part of the Swedish office team consisting of 7 employees. The team members are keen to help each other out and value good teamwork and a friendly atmosphere.

Arbetsuppgifter:

In this role, you are responsible for the daily functioning and are the link between the business and external parts when it comes to daily traffic, fleet maintenance, traffic planning and the purchase of new vehicles. Service and repair of vehicles is done through an external workshop with which you will work closely since you are responsible for service bookings. The role also includes administrational work, for example managing paperwork related to inspections and incidents and contacting the Swedish Transport Agency regarding route permits.
Together with the traffic coordinator, you are also in charge of traffic and staff management for Tourism Groups’ drivers where you staff and schedule routes, as well as managing and following up sales. Although the role contains administrational work, it is mainly operational. As an operational supervisor you will be out in the business a few days a week. This means being helpful in the ports where the guests arrive with the cruise boats, or to make sure that work is done correctly in our buses at our external workshop.

Profil:

• 1-2 years’ experience from a similar role, experience within the transportation and/or tourism industry is a plus
• Fluent in English both in writing and speech, Swedish is a plus
• Great technical interest

To succeed in this role, we see that you can take initiative and are able to work independently and in collaboration with others. You are driven by working in a high pace with various work tasks and have a structured manner. Furthermore, you are highly communicative person, and the urge to help people comes naturally for you.
