mySafety Group’s mission is to provide products, services and information for people’s everyday security and safety. We help them to protect their homes, their cars and personal belongings and make sure that they feel safe when traveling on holiday. Our products and services including blocking service where we block lost cards, mobile and ID documents and various supplementary insurance. mySafety has since our inception in 1999 grown into a leading international group of companies within everyday security and we have currently over 1 million customers. mySafety Nordic IT support Sweden, Finland and Norway with the operations, projects, applications, services and information/data. We are currently 13 people based in the Nordics. Our IT department is characterized by passionate employees who work closely with the business, short decision paths and a large individual responsibility.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Operations manager will be responsible for leading the day-to-day infrastructure operations in the mySafety Nordic market. Specifically the role will be accountable for server maintenance, inbound- and outbound telecom, external- and internal network, firewalls and printers. The role requires a proven track record of building and leading a best practice infrastructure in a fast-paced, growing business environment. This manager is a business oriented, innovative and organized technologist who can plan, develop and deliver solutions to maximize business value. This role will answer directly to the Head of IT Operations Nordics and have a Nordic responsibility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•
Position and prepare the infrastructure for scalable growth – development, processes, and roadmaps
•
Lead the design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of our infrastructure
•
Identify and manage technology, infrastructure and software partners in support of the business growth strategy
•
Maintain and ensure proper documentation for all software infrastructure and solutions
•
Drive continual efficiency improvement through assessment and appropriate change in process, tooling and management skills
•
Design, implement and maintain reliable and cost effective operations of the infrastructure
MEASUREMENT OF SUCCESS
•
Ability to partner with the colleagues in the IT team, business stakeholders and vendors in order to manage implementation of technology solutions that meet the needs of the business
•
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization
•
Ability to provide technology innovation and vision for accelerating the growth of the business
QUALIFICATIONS
•
5+ years in management positions in technology management / operations
•
Proven ability to communicate with cross-functional teams including development teams, vendors and business stakeholders.
•
Demonstrated ability to understand and develop the technical infrastructure and capabilities
•
Proven experience leading an organization to successfully deliver best practice solutions
•
Extensive experience applying new and existing technology to business needs
•
Strong personal and team player skills, proven ability to help building high performing engaged teams
•
Strategic thinking combined with the ability to execute
•
Experience working with fast-paced agile development environments and continual deployment
•
Hands-on experience and technical credibility in large scale environments
•
Strong written and verbal skills in Swedish and English
