East Capital in Stockholm has outsourced its middle office administration and is now in need of someone to oversee and manage the day-to-day contact with the outsourced service providers.

THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL DO

As an Oversight Specialst within Fund Operations, your main responsibiltes will be:

• managning the day-to-day operation of the funds and segregated accounts under management of ECAM SA
• communication with internal parties and external service providers to ensure that related processes run smoothly
• supporting colleagues, CEO and conducting officers in all parts of operational business and processes regarding Fund Operations.

In order to meet these responsibilities your main work tasks will be to:

• manage contacts with depository banks, administrators and transfer agents appointed to the fund or/and management company.
• ensure the timely and accurate settlement of trade orders
• assist the trading department with the handling and execution of broker agreements
• coordinate with the various service providers to ensure that recommendations from the investment managing teams are in accordance with voting activities and corporate actions.
• contribute to ensure efficient workflows within the company by proactive documentation and alerting upon anomalies

This role will also require you to provide needed documents and reports to Board meetings and on a regular basis participate at service meetings with service providers. You will also be expected to review fees from service providers and other regulatory developments to ensure a continued high level of compliance within the company.

WHO ARE YOU?

Knowledge criteria:

• University degree in Finance/Economics
• professional experience in tradematching, tradeprocessing and corporate actions
• fluent in Swedish and English
• experienced user of MS Office

You have to be a good communicator and like to develop long term relationships. The ability to see the big picture without letting go of the details will a great asset in this position.
