Plant Initiative Manager

We are looking for an additional colleague to join as a Plant Initiative Manager to our factory in Falkenberg.
In the factory in Falkenberg we are around 340 employees. We are a modern organization with high technology machines and mindset. Technology development and upgrading project are constantly on our agenda. Our productions are within fast moving consumer goods. In our factory we are producing diapers, incontinence products mostly for markets within Central- and East Europe.

About the role
This role is a permanent position without probation period. As the Initiative Manager you will provide strategic direction and planning for the projects and initiatives functions at the site, drive execution with excellence and to meet site goals and objectives. You will also work with developing and implementing improvements in areas such as innovations, technical projects and in materials and markets. You will lead the site CapEx portfolio including asset replacement strategy and you are the owner of the Initiatives Site Master Plan.
The role is responsible for the initiation and implementation of all plant initiatives and is a key contributor to innovation. He/she will coordinate all project related activities for the plant and all products and materials initiatives. The role needs also to ensure fast execution of innovation projects and cost savings initiatives leading an expert team of engineers and project technicians. He/she will create short- and long-term action plans through close collaboration with functions outside the factories like Product Assortment - and Innovation-teams, Technology and Sourcing organization and following Business input and needs.
You will be a member of the Site Management Team, where you take a shared Business Ownership for the full plant development. Also, as member of the Global Manufacturing Personal Care Initiatives Network team, develop and implement enablers for initiative improvements. You will report to Site Manager.

you have a relevant university education within engineering or experience considered equivalent
you have well-documented leadership experience
you have 10+ years of experience of work in similar role including Project Management
Experience of applying of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) is a plus
you are fluent in English. Knowing Swedish is a plus
