CALDERYS is a major global supplier of technical solutions with refractory materials.Höganäs is Scandinavia's largest production plant for monolithic alumina products.The plant also manufactures prefabricated elements for niche applications.The plant is one of three in Sweden, and one of 18 within Calderys Group.For more info: www.calderys.com The Plant Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the plant with the main focus on producing to lowest possible cost whilst maintaining the correct safety and quality requirements.He/She has to work in an independent and flexible way and has to be target oriented.Key responsibilities: * Responsible for the performance of the plant in terms of productivity defined by the global Calderys Key Performance Indicators (including, cost, machine productivity, manpower productivity, stock management etc.) * Responsible for managing production to keep lead times to a minimum whilst balancing the stock and working capital needs of the company. * Responsible for the health, safety and environmental procedures of the plant from design to implementation and follow-up to ensure at the first stage regulatory compliance and afterwards best practice. * Responsible for management of change in the plant in accordance with the Three-year plan on the plant, driving change and improvements. * Responsible for suggestion, gaining approval and implementation of plant capital expenditure projects in line with the needs of the Calderys Nordics business plan and Calderys global guidelines. * Responsible for the management and development of the plant team. * Responsible for the quality parameters in the plant, the maintenance of the necessary standards and continuous improvement of quality The person we seek will have extensive experience as a plant manager, including defining and reaching agreed targets for cost, productivity, safety and quality.He/she uses excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent relationship building skills, as well as leadership and team management skills.He/she must have experience of leading projects, de-bottlenecking of production processes and show clear evidence of management of change in previous roles.Experience of implementation of Lean Management techniques such as SMED, 5s, Kaizen or similar methods would be of a distinct advantage.Vi arbetar med ett löpande urval och behöver din ansökan snarast möjligt.
