The department End User Productivity (EUP) has 180 colleagues working within 4 areas: Service Desk, Workplace Services, Collaborations Services and Business & Portfolio, providing services to the entire Scania organisation globally. Your assignments
As a Portfolio Manager working at the group Business & Portfolio you will lead our service portfolio development within the department that are connected to the new and exciting scenario described above. As an IT Portfolio Manager you are responsible for:
• Responsible for service portfolio development making sure strategy alignment with the journey described above, where technological innovation are connected or even driven by Business needs and effectively adds values to all end-users world-wide.
• Support and inspire our organisation to secure best value for current and planned services portfolio roadmaps, budgets (including pricing) and investments.
• Identify technical and financial interdependencies between current and planned EUP services in the portfolio to provide guidance for how to manage these.
• Use your knowledge of Scania’s IT organisation and is able to work cross-functionally to make effective use of resources.
• Cooperating with Scania’s various business areas, i.e. our customers and clients, is also expected to maximize portfolio and product development connected to IT and Scania’s strategies.
You will work in the Business & Portfolio Group which has the following cross-functional responsibilities within the End User Productivity department:
1) Project Management
2) Portfolio Management
3) Service Delivery Management
4) Architecture
5) Communication
Your profile
For you to be successful in this role we believe you should be an experienced professional with a strong will to delivery results with quality and speed.
You also have good communication and people skills and are a team and servant player that motivates other people to do their best. Furthermore comfortable in an environment with high pace of change, strong in prioritisation you are a curious person that are eager and quick to learn.
You have several years of experience working within IT, preferable in areas of product and service development and understands software and hardware lifecycle management. You also have good knowledge and understanding of vendor and contract management.
The suitable candidate needs to have the following skills:
• Experience of understanding business requirements and working with key business and technology stakeholders
• A curious interest in all new IT technology and how it can be transformed into workable and cost-effected solutions
• Thinking in solutions
• High integrity when harmonising local and central requirements
• Fluent in written and spoken English
