Presales engineer to network security leader

Perido is recuiting a Presales Engineer to our client, a leading security provider for network environments. Its award-winning solutions give enterprises, cloud service providers and telecoms operators the highest levels of protection against current and new threats, and unmatched reliability. The positions is placed at our client?s office in central Stockholm.

Description
The primary responsibility is to provide technical presales support to assist partners nationally and internationally in developing sales. The Presales Engineer is the technical lead on sales calls and facilitates interactions and collaboration with our client?s technical team and account executives. The Presales Engineer is responsible for the design and validation of solutions and providing guidance on best practices for implementation.

To be successful in this role, you need to have logical problem-solving approach and the ability to clearly communicate the situation and proposed solution to the customer. You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present in a group setting and to interact effectively with senior business managers and executives. This also includes the ability to project a professional image and strong business acumen during customer interactions.

We believe that you are self-motivated and have the abilitiy to develop and maintain skill set and product knowledge to maximize value and to deliver quality services to our client?s customers. This includes attaining designated certification requirements and attending product-specific training, reviewing technical literature, and obtaining hands-on experience.

Requirements
-A strong understanding and 3+ years of hands on experience with TCP/IP networks, Windows, Linux or similar
-3+ years experience in Presales Engineering, in selling system and solutions
-Expert knowledge of IP security
-Experience with virtual environments
-Strong technical writing skills and the ability to assist the Sales Group and Professional Services with requests for quotes / information, bids, proposals and statements of work
-Excellent skills in both written and verbal communication. Fluency in Swedish and English are mandatory

Also valuable:
-Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Network Technology
-Experience in working with Linux/Unix environments

Contract type and hours
Full time. Start date August/September. Permanent employment.
