Would you like to be part of a team devoted to managing internal and external communication for the Sandvik Group? Group Communication is responsible for media contacts and PR, internal communication, intranet and the web, issue management and corporate identity matters for Sandvik AB.

The External Communications department at Group Communications gives strategic advice and drives relations with media, the generic public, shareholders, business partners and other external stakeholders such as communities or NGO's. It is within this area that we are looking for a Press Communication/PR Assistant who has 2-4 years´ experience within a PR, Communications or Marketing organization.

This position is based in Stockholm.

Key performance areas
Your main responsibilities will include:

- Writing of press releases
- Being the first point of contact for media enquiries and directing these calls accordingly
- Administration and control of the companies photo portfolio
- Managing calendar, bookings and e-mail
- Planning and preparation of meetings including agendas and presentations, as well as handling documentation and minutes
- Directing communications and processing internal documents and reports
- Travel reservations and coordination of travel schedule
- Administration of expenses, invoices, databases, time and attendance approvals
- Word processing, filing and archiving
- Flexible working hours are necessary periodically and some travelling may be required.

Your profile
Confident, articulate and service minded are key attributes for this role, you need to be highly organized, well-structured and respond quickly to a changing environment. You will be required to use your own initiative to solve problems and take pride in what you do, producing high quality work as standard. Excellent skills in English and Swedish, both written and verbal are a prerequisite, as is proficiency in the MS Office suite.

You possess an eye for details and proven multi-tasking abilities. You have worked within or have experience of a Global organization as well as being a team player who can also work independently. Experience of working with Web Tools is an advantage.
