The department Pricing EMEA is part of Business Performance EMEA, and includes thirteen co-workers based all over Europe, with its main counterparts concentrated around the Nordic cluster consisting of the Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish and Polish markets. We are now offering a challenging opportunity for the right candidate to work closely with the management of the Nordic cluster, gain strategic experience and develop while working across borders. The location of this position is flexible within the Nordic countries headquarters, but the preferred location is Kista, Sweden.

Key performance areas
As our Pricing Specialist, your main responsibility will be price and discount management for the Nordic cluster, as defined by the Sandvik Coromant EMEA governance. Your work will be structured, as required by common deliverables, but also features independent strategic thinking, which will play a significant role in your making the best decisions in line with company strategy.

This position includes traveling, mainly within Europe, up to 30% of the time.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Master's degree in Economics or Business Management. Apart from being an advanced MS Office and Excel user, you have at least three to five years of working experience from business control, pricing and/or strategic marketing. If you, in addition, are specialized in marketing, pricing in global contexts or have experience working in SAP, this will be considered advantageous. Furthermore you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. Skills in additional languages, such as Swedish or Polish are a plus.

As a person you are analytical, with a logical mindset. Your solid business understanding combined with excellent social skills grant you the ability to work as a market partner, while your confidence and communicative capabilities allow you to take on challenges and present your findings in a comprehensible way. You are comfortable working independently, but also enjoy being part of a team.
