(Your Role)
Reporting to the Board of Directors of Raoul Wallenberg School through the CEO, the principal will hold overall responsibility for the growth and development of RWISP and will provide the strategic vision and direction for the whole school. In this role, you have the opportunity to build your own leadership team as well as Student support team.
As Principal, you will work full-time and you will be offered a contract with a 6 months probationary period, starting in August 2024. We have very high expectations for our school leaders to be good examples in living up to our four watchwords - honesty, compassion, courage and action. We expect the school leader to be an exceptional and responsible leader for all stakeholders - students, employees and guardians.

The successful candidate is an experienced international school leader with a degree in education who has the desire to work as part of the Raoul Wallenberg organisation while building a close relationship with the Board and family of our schools. Further leadership experience from other industries/fields as well as insight into and experience with the British curriculum (Cambridge) is viewed as advantageous.
Additionally, our Principal needs to be able to communicate in English (verbal and written) as English will be the language of instruction. Spanish and Swedish proficiency is of further advantage.
The successful candidate will be an exceptional educator, with the gravitas to be an inspiring ambassador for the school and wider community. They will be innovative, forward-thinking and have a passion for progressive education, in line with the ethos and values of the Raoul Wallenberg family of schools. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to the local community and a genuine interest in high quality international education.
The ideal candidate is a stable leader with exceptional skills when it comes to building relationships in order to allow for growth and development as well as creating an environment built on trust and reliance. This role requires a great listener, focused on win-win solutions with the school’s and its stakeholders’ best at heart. Furthermore, we are seeking a leader who thrives in motivating and inspiring others toward the journey ahead.
