To be successful in this position you should have work experience in procurement or supply, multicultural as well as experience of the IKEA store operations in Sales, Logistics, Store equipment or Business navigation. Moreover you have knowledge of Retail Establishment implementation and of the investment request process as well as working with procurement orders related to project establishment (new CMP or rebuild).


You have knowledge in following areas:


• INGKA Procurement (Procure Product and Services)
• equipment needs for CPMs
• the Retail Establishment Process
• how to execute a project in a defined time frame
• understanding of IKEA CMP procurement scope, from construction to all CMP equipment
• creating efficient and cost efficient methods and tools
• investment Request Process
• IKEA concept, brand objectives, values and vision
• how to create and implement change initiatives and manage stakeholders in IKEA
• IKEA multichannel shopping experience


We believe that you have strong cost management skills, having the total cost in mind, in order to keep track of procurement costs from start to end of each project. You have an understanding for customer needs in order to challenge common ways and you work with several projects in parallel and perform with flexibility and simplicity. Moreover you are capable of communicating and presenting clearly within specific area of expertise with IKEA tone of voice. Furthermore you should organize and structure own contribution to global projects and you have the ability to handle excel and MS office on advanced level.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
A Procurement Demand Specialist is responsible for creating the procurement demand for the new Customer Meeting Points (CMPs) and major rebuilds for all relevant procurement linked to the commercial planning and build up.


You will:


• be responsible to secure and follow up that the defined range is ordered and delivered according project plan
• be responsible to create and maintain the list of needed procurements that will form the standard for commercial planning
• take responsibility for project deliverables related to procurement based on input from commercial planning
• work with several CMP projects in parallel, with clearly defined time frame and provide financial input to Investment Request (IR) process
• collaborate with the Planning specialist to identify optimal equipment solutions from the standardized range
• provide Establishment specialists and Market project leaders with complete documentation of the orders as well as the delivery time line
• follow up on procurement deliveries/budgets and act upon discrepancies and delays
• be responsible to secure alignment and close collaboration with relevant stakeholders, e.g. Planning Specialists, Procurement, Construction (Group Real Estate) and Project Managers/Leaders
• support the continual improvement and collaboration by sharing feedback from project follow up and lessons learned with relevant stakeholders
• work across functions within Ingka Group and collaborate with other IKEA units.
• drive an open and sharing climate, being a role model of the IKEA value


This role is located in Malmö and will report to the Planning Project Manager.
