Academic Work is on behalf of our client Atlas Copco looking for a Product Coordinator to manage continuous product improvement processes for their Handheld Electic Tightening Tools within their business area Industrial Technique.

This recruitment process is conducted by Academic Work and the request from Atlas Copco is that all questions regarding the position is handled by Academic Work.
Academic Work is responsible for the recruitment process but the candidate that proceeds will be employed directly by Atlas Copco.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
We are looking for a Product Coordinator to our Handheld Electric Tightening Tools team which is a part of Engineering department in R&D. The team consists of 10 colleagues with technical responsibility for the product range with main task to assure product quality, produce ability and keeping up performance according to what we have promised our customers. Creating new product variants is also an important part of our responsibility.

These actions and activities are in close cooperation with other departments such as Quality, Marketing and Production.

Your main assignments will be to manage continuous product improvement process by ownership of Engineering Change Control (ECC) from reception of an issue until all necessary actions have been taken and case closed. This work is done in close cooperation with manager and designer and often starts with an analysis of root cause including classification and prioritization. When a solution has been realized a consequence analysis take place what impact it might have: technically, in production, in logistic, delivery times, stock, spare parts etc.

An important part of the process is then the actual implementation of chosen solution. For that you act as a chairman in ECC Board where all vital functions meet for planning and follow up to get the most efficient and rapid implementation. Participants are Team Manager, representatives for Quality, Sourcing, Production, Spare Parts management as well as other functions depending on character of issue.

Your job will include but not be restricted to:


* Help and support designers and product owners in analyzing and implementing design changes of various kind so they can free time to concentrate on their main tasks.
* Communicate, cooperate and coordinate with internal and external representatives for R&D, Sourcing, Quality, Marketing, Production units, sub suppliers etc.
* Responsible for impact analysis.
* Responsible to drive ECC process.
* Chairman of ECC Board.
* Master ECC process in PdmLink.


Other objectives:


* Participate in ECC process development projects.
* Communicate deviations from plan fast and clear.
* Work with continues improvements together with the team and others.


VI SÖKER DIG SOM
Educational requirements:


* M.Sc. degree in mechanics, electronics or similar.


Experience requirements:


* 5 years’ work experience preferably from equivalent assignments and in systems type PdmLink/SAP. Design experience is also an advantage.


Knowledge requirements:


* Swedish and English fluently spoken and written.
