Do you want to utilize your technical knowledge to provide home smart technological solutions that simplify, create well being and save time and money for our customers as well as the planet? Then you might be our next Product Development Engineer!

We are entering into a new exciting area of business where focus is on digital solutions. To succeed we need to strengthen our team with a project leader within digital technology. You will drive the development of the needed technical platforms. Your main responsibility will be to drive the dialogue with leading development partners in their field of expertise, and ensure we land future proof technical platforms. You will be overall responsible to lead and make sure the technical development projects are carried through and delivered in time and follow up on the results. You will contribute in development of IKEA standards and you will actively participate and contribute within the technical matrix.

We are looking for you that want to be a part of creating a high quality home furnishing offer and make people buy great functionality instead of technical solutions. To succeed in this mission we think you have a University degree and several years of experience within digital technology. You have broad knowledge in digital technology, project management and leadership. You are motivated by finding new ways of working and keeping up with the constant technical development.

Delivery is a big focus in this role, and we will require you to deliver projects on time and within budget. You are energetic, driven and determined, enjoy working closely with people and have great communication & convincing skills. You have the capability to lead, manage and motivate people.

Our corporate language is English, so fluency both verbally and in writing is required. The position is placed in Älmhult and will require about 50 long distance travelling days per year.
