Product Environmental Manager

Your role

You will be part of Surveillance central environmental management function and report directly to Head of Environmental Management. The group will support the Business Area's management, employees and operations regarding environmental matters. The function have governance for both the products environmental impact and the operations environmental impact.



As a Product Environmental Manager, you will handle a wide range of tasks within the framework of product environmental management. Your role will govern and assure compliance to environmental requirements by monitoring and implement laws and regulations as well as have an important role to help the organization to implement, drive and follow up the environmental strategy, objectives and targets within the environmental field. You will also have the possibility to contribute in development of common and local processes and procedures enabling best practice way of working.



Saab has well established Collaboration Groups within the Environmental field. You will be a part of them and represent Surveillance in for example Saab forum for product related issues.

This provides the opportunity to develop a broad network of contacts within the company.

As your field of work spans our entire business, you will work closely with employees and management teams across Surveillance in Sweden and abroad.

Required skills:

Master degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience

Strong drive, perseverance and ability to generate energy

Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish, written and verbal

Open minded with focus on collaboration and improvements



Desired skills:

Good knowledge in environmental legislation

Good knowledge of ISO14001 standard and audit management
*

Experience from defence and/or aviation industry



This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions, requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

Environmental management will be part of Quality Management, but you will interact throughout and outside of BA Surveillance and travelling will be required.

Base office location is at any of Surveillance's major Swedish sites Göteborg, Järfälla or Huskvarna.
