The section Ergonomics is responsible for requirement setting within three of five sub attribute areas within the part of the Craftsmanship & ergonomics centre. The areas are: occupant accommodation and roominess, visibility and daily life usage. As our colleague will be on maternity leave for a year, we're now looking for the perfect candidate to replace her during her absence.

As Product Ergonomist your main task is to create complete vehicle and system requirements from a property description within the attribute areas the section is responsible for. A big part of the job is to act Council leader in the convenience council including your attribute areas as well as climate comfort and seating comfort. You will plan and hold the meetings with a cross-functional staffing and be responsible for driving the process with needs and means within the convenience area. You will also act as an Advance Engineering leader within ergonomics, manage and work with projects within the area. The role is cross-functional with a lot of contact with colleagues from other departments, contact with suppliers and researchers. We're looking for someone who's not afraid to speak his/her mind and to contribute with new ideas.

Main responsibilities

* Lead the convenience council and upcoming topics (both the administrative part and drive the discussions towards development)
* Lead Advance Engineering (AE) projects within the area
* Develop, communicate and define ergonomic requirements reflecting customer needs
* Act and represent this attribute area in all phases of platform and vehicle programs
* Be the contact person for Accessories and lead the operational work within the ergonomics group to support ergonomic related issues
* Participate as being the expert within the area of ergonomics when performing benchmarking analysis

Required qualifications

* M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Ergonomics or equivalent education
* Deep interest in Ergonomics and new technology
* At least 4 years experience of project work within the area product ergonomics
* Experience from R&D within car manufacturing is meritorious
* Preferably experience of working with CATIA V5, TCE and Ramsis
* Drivers license B (Car)
* Fluent in English and Swedish, spoken and written
