Product Forecaster till Oriflame Cosmetics

Oriflame Cosmetics is a fast growing cosmetics company. We have sales operations in 57 countries and market leading positions in over 30 countries. A sales force of 1.6 million independent sales consultants market a complete range of high quality skincare, fragrances and cosmetics. Although the company has grown rapidly it never lost sight of its original business concept - Natural Swedish Cosmetics from friend to friend. As the Product Forecaster you are a part of the Operations department and report to the Nordic Planning Manager. You are also a part of the Product Forecasters group in Western Europe. The position as Product Forecaster for Sweden is responsible for: . the right product is ordered at the right time, just in time (JIT) concept. . to anticipate lead times to order the required products from Oriflame's central warehouse . to forecast the future demand of approx. 1000 active products using marketing forecasts and statistical data. . to be responsible for the item maintenance in the system . to coordinate information regarding demand and supply both internally and externally . to compile weekly and monthly reports in excel with attached graphs . participating in international meetings held by the catalogue planning department . participating in the project of implementing a new computer system in 2006/2007 Qualifications The position requires prior experience from a similar position. You have good knowledge of excel to prepare reports using the correct graphs to display information. You are fluent in Swedish and English, in written and oral. Personality You are a detailed oriented person and interested in working with statistical data. You also need to be flexible, responsible, committed, and able to prioritize deadlines. It is also important that you have the ability and maturity to handle pressure at times.
