We are looking to recruit for a Nordic Product Manager for product segments Performance Fluids and Surfactants. At Univar we focus on strategic growth for our customers and suppliers. As Nordic Product Manager you are responsible for new business development, building long and short term strategies for the products, developing product line content, presentations, support to sales team, and in overall, to drive activities in order to grow your product portfolio.

Reporting to the Group Product Manager and working in close cooperation with the sales team and procurement this is an important role that needs a driven, goal oriented professional with a proven track-record and ambitious mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain strategic and tactical plans, implement and monitor the sales team execution

- Analyze sales results and market information relating to your product portfolio and build actions accordingly

- To be responsible for the product portfolio budget and forecasting

- Price Management - following market prices, price strategy and execution as well as communication to sales

- Negotiate supplier conditions including purchase price, delivery, payment terms and other relevant conditions

- Stay updated on commercial product and market updates

- Contribute to optimization on product range in relation to working capital

We Are Looking For:

The successful candidate will have a university degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, marketing, business management or equivalent. It is a requirement to have previous experience (3-5 years) within product management. A technical understanding is advantageous. You are driven, business oriented, convincing, reliable and service minded. We work in a fast paced environment and it is essential that you are able to work focused under pressure. You are an excellent networker and driven by good performance.
You have an understanding of working in an international environment and as English is our corporate language you should be confident working in English in both speech and writing. It is a requirement that you are fluent in one Nordic language. A good understanding of all Nordic languages is seen as an advantage.
