Academic Work is on behalf of our client Atlas Copco looking for a Product Manager for Controllers and Software to join General Industry Division within their business area Industrial Technique.

This recruitment process is conducted by Academic Work and the request from Atlas Copco is that all questions regarding the position is handled by Academic Work.
Academic Work is responsible for the recruitment process but the candidate that proceeds will be employed directly by Atlas Copco.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
We are seeking a high potential person with a can-do attitude to be part of the GI Marketing Team in Nacka Sweden. In this high profile position, you will be globally responsible for controllers (Power Focus) and software for the GI Division.

You will be working in a global environment and be a key person in managing the product portfolio. You will be part of the assembly segment team and report to the business manager assembly. You will work closely with our sales companies, customers and R&D to ensure sustainable, profitable development of the portfolio.

Main tasks include:


* Manage the global launch of the Power Focus 6000 in the General Industry Division
* Drive the PF6000 road map and release plan with CCs, marketing and R&D.
* Manage software products such as ToolsNet.
* Work together with CC’s and R&D to ensure fulfillment of the customer needs.
* Follow up on actions with product managers in the CC’s to ensure a successful launch.
* Reporting on progress and other success factors for the PF6000 launch to Division.
* Price Management on the system components.
* Drive the implementation of our new business model for software sales.
* Drive the initiative and implementation of trainings and competence development.
* Facilitate the PF6000 network.
* Ensure we have all launch material such as web, e-brochures, videos etc.
* Responsibility of your product range involving product planning, requirement handling, pricing and pruning.
* Be the link between marketing and R&D when developing new products within your product range.
* Be the specialist on how your product can best be applied to customer applications
* Documenting and sharing best practices to the customer centers globally.
* Develop value propositions and value based sales arguments for the product solutions with focus on total cost of ownership.
* Drive marketing activities such as product launches and product training.
* Daily product support to customer centers.


The position requires extensive travelling.

* Education:
The person we are seeking for holds a Bachelor or Master Degree in engineering and should have a strong interest in marketing and sales.


* Experience requirements:

It is important that you have a comprehensive financial understanding. You should have a proven record of accomplishment in product launches and product management. We expect you to be fluent in English. Other languages is a merit. Swedish is not a requirement.
