What you’ll do
Department Deceleration & Steering is a part of Vehicle Platform . Our team focuses on the hardware development of Brake Foundation, Brake and Accelerator Pedals, and Brake Lines. We lead the way in developing shared platforms for Volvo, Polestar, Geely, and Lotus, ensuring the future of automotive excellence.

Product Owner (PO), responsibilities:
In this role you will have cross-cluster product ownership for Brake Foundation, Brake and Accelerator Pedals, and Brake Lines. You will develop short- and long-term strategies for our components, and collaborate with system architects and Technology Managers to prioritize technology and concept development. You will engage with internal and external stakeholders to optimize products for maximum business value, and ensure cross-functional needs and priorities are met.

What you'll bring:
For this position you should hold an MSc Degree in a relevant area (preferably mechanical engineering) or have equivalent expertise. You have 5+ years of experience in a relevant technical leadership role, specifically within Brake HW development. You should have experience from concept development and have a servant leader mentality, focusing on both team deliveries and well-being. You are excited about people and products with a human-centric approach, and are structure and target-focus with a holistic/strategic mindset. With look for you with effective communication and networking skills and proven ability to inspire, influence, and develop teams. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required for this position.
