The department HVDC Engineering Plant Electrical Design manages the delivery of auxiliary power system for the HVDC stations. Design of this system is complex and depending on information from both internal and external stakeholders. System design, selectivity studies, equipment specification, cable and cable transit systems are part of the scope. The system we manage includes equipment such as: Auxiliary Transformers, Medium & Low voltage switchgear, Diesel Generator Systems, Batteries, UPS and cables.
In this role as Product owner the key tasks are to work with product lifecycle, coordinate, prioritize and long-term focus. The PO is overall responsible of the product including product performance, product portfolio, marketing offer, LCM, etc.
Your responsibilities
Coordinating the activities concerning Base solutions with all HVDC
Overall process enhancement and coordination
Coordinate the OD work of the plant engineering departments. The purpose is to ensure the consistency of the base solutions with overall objectives of the Plant Design.
Identify Project feedback relevant to the Plant Engineering with the objective of improving the base solutions
Initiate cost reduction initiatives.
Interface to other parts of the business

Your background
We are looking for a person who brings a lot of energy into the group and has a natural ability to make crucial decisions
You are used to managing several tasks simultaneously, without losing the overall perspective
You hold a university degree in engineering or similar
You have multi-annual experienced within several design domains for HVDC and especially within Auxiliary Power Systems.
Site experience is highly desirable
Good strategic and communicative skills
As you will be part of an international company it is important that you are fluent in spoken and written English
