Job content
Collect and analyze market trends, competitor information and Volvo CE product portfolio business results through close cooperation with Regional and other global functions
Facilitate Portfolio Prioritization activities as a Key user of IBM® Rational® Focal Point?
Ensure cross functional engagement through forums and global virtual teams
Support the Product Portfolio Management process in order to;
Maximize the value of the Volvo CE product portfolio
Ensure the most optimal product portfolio mix
Ensure alignment with the Volvo CE strategy
Provide scenario planning to support Product Portfolio management decisions
Support ability & affordability planning activities balanced with Technology, Operation and Sales & Marketing
Support activities for the product range to support short term and long term product portfolio plans, aligned with Product Planning Roadmap
Provide input and support project portfolio prioritization process
Secure Hard and Soft product portfolio alignment within the range
Support collaboration with Product Positioning and SDLG PPL functions and other related stakeholders
Secure usage of processes and deployed tools required to perform efficient portfolio management

Knowledge and experience
University degree in Engineering
Good understanding of global markets
Minimum of ten years relevant industry experience with a good technical understanding of construction machinery or similar
Understanding of various customer applications and segments
Good skills in written and spoken English
Good communication skills and an ability to interact with people on all levels
Ability to work unsupervised in an analytical and structured manner
