YOUR QUALIFICATIONS We believe you have a technical degree within some area of software development and at least five years of work experience, primarily working directly with customers.You have broad knowledge of network management, network protocols in the TCP/IP environment and software administration.Furthermore we believe you have extensive experience of Linux/Unix.Knowledge of PHP and shell scripting is valued, as is knowledge of hosted systems or similar centralized software environments.Apart from this we believe you are a person with problem solving abilities and a service minded and open attitude towards colleagues and customers.You are easy to collaborate with and have excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written. THE SYSTEM AND SERVICES UNIT Within System and Services we are 20 people, divided in 6 groups, globally responsible for the service offering, solutions offering and technical solutions support.This includes product management for system functions and software, design and coordination responsibility for service and support offerings, project sales support and partner interface in technical and connected strategic matters. JOB DESCRIPTION Within System and Services you work in a team, Video Hosting System, with 2 Product Managers to define and roll out the offering.The team works closely together with a dedicated team within Research & Development (R&D) and in close cooperation with Sales. Video Hosting System is a new offering that has created a huge interest in the market.The next step, to roll out the system to further partners and to assist existing partners in scaling their business is a vital challenge for Axis.As product specialist you will be responsible for the customer support for Axis Video Hosting System.You will act proactively - by producing documentation, tech notes and FAQs, but also reactively - by answering and solving customer cases.You will also take part in product development projects and inject feedback based on your customer interaction.Your duties will include: Handling all support cases, normally of a high complexity, as reported by partners running or installing Axis Video Hosting System Testing and verifying customer problems in our test environments Acting as a bridge between customers and development engineers.You will have extensive access to the developers and you'll work in close cooperation with R&D to solve any issues.
