Production Manager

Verksamhetsbeskrivning:

Stockvik is one of three manufacturing sites operated by Surface Chemistry EMEIA. The plant is a critical asset in our manufacturing system, producing a wide range of specialty surfactants, mainly based on fatty amines or their derivatives. The site operation is complex and challenging as we have many raw materials & suppliers, use a range of unit operations and technologies and significant internal and external logistics. Safety is our highest priority.

Surface Chemistry EMEIA has embarked on an ambitious growth and the products manufactured in Stockvik play an important role. Our intention is to increase utilization of the plant with existing as well as new products. Several larger investment projects will take place coming years.

Arbetsuppgifter:

As our Production Manager, you have the responsibility for the operations in the plant. In your team you will have a group of production supervisors and operators, both daytime and shift.

Main tasks include:
- Ensure that the production is carried out according to plan
- Create a safe working environment and ensure that operations are carried out according to HSE laws and regulations
- Increase productivity, quality, lead times and efficiency within the organization.
- Work with competence development to meet new demands
- Create a stimulating and developing working climate leading to high engagement among the personnel
- In close connection with planning, market and technology, create long-term plans for the development of the production
- Establish budgets for the operations and manage expenditure to meet budgets

Utbildning/Erfarenhet:

To be successful in this position you need a solid experience from the process industry. You have a university degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent work experience.

You have several years of managerial experience with proven good leadership skills. You are able to drive change with high engagement in the organization. Experience of LEAN or other manufacturing excellence programs is an advantage in this position.

As a person you are responsible, result oriented and communicative. You have a proactive work style and you take initiative for improvements. You share our value that safety always comes first. You are fluent in Swedish and English.
