Project Engineer

The Architectural Planning team is a key contributor to Getinge Infection Control´s commercial success. The high-quality detailed drawings and designs produced by this team are in many sales situations considered one of the most important and valuable tools to distinguish our solutions from that of the competitors. The team of five in Getinge is working together with a global team of 15 colleagues sitting locally in our sales organizations.

We are now recruiting a Project Engineer to our team in Getinge!

The position
The main purpose of the role is to support the Sales & Service Companies and our distributors with analysis and investigations of equipment needs as well as architectural design drawings for customers within infection control applications. The goal is to increase sales, improve quality and to faster response towards project requests coming from SSU’s & distributors. You will therefore play a key role in the contribution to the commercial success of Getinge Infection Control!
Among your main responsibilities and tasks will be:

• Development of functional layouts in Revit and Autocad, both in 2D and 3D
• Creation of animations in relevant tools, such as 3D Studio Max
• Execution of equipment demand calculations in our Optimizer tool or equivalent
• Daily interactions with customers, architects and planners regarding layout suggestion
• Keep update on the individual products in our portfolio and the inter-compatibility
• When requested and prioritized, assist in making technical installation drawings
• Participation in customer meetings, exhibitions, congresses and gives speeches on relevant topics as well as develops suitable presentations to these meetings
• Keep update on development standards and best practice
• Under vacation period & high-peak seasons, be backup for the rest of the team

Travel is estimated 20-25 days per year, but varies depending on year.

The ideal candidate
As ideal for the position you have 2-5 years experience of a technical role in a business to business environment together with a willingness to travel and to work in a global and dynamic organization. Some of your key characteristics include:
• Education in Building Engineering/ Industrial design/ Interior Design or Architect
• Excellent knowledge of Revit is required
• Knowledge of Autocad is an advantage
• Demonstrated ability to drive projects and deliver on tight deadlines
• Good verbal and written skills in English and Swedish
• Knowledge of Spanish and French is a plus

As a person you are a hands-on and results driven self-starter who works well independently as well as in a team. You have a great ability to manage multiple tasks in a rapidly changing environment. Having the right attitude and a good way of handling stress is crucial! Since it’s a customer oriented role, it is important that you have good business acumen and a great ability to understand customer needs. Good presentation skills and an ability to inspire and enthuse others are other key success-factors in the role.
