Project Manager

Floatel International Ltd has placed turn key contracts with Keppel FELS Shipyard, Singapore for delivery in 2010 of two newbuild semi submersible accommodation vessels. Its subsidiary, Floatel International AB has a long term agreement with its parent company to provide operational, technical and personnel management services. We are now seeking a Project Manager with the overall responsibility to execute contracts entered into. The Project Manager will be managing the day to day operations of a floatel in operation. He is the company's formal single point of contact with the Client, and is responsible for the liaison and negotiations with the Client on all matters to do with the project. The tasks and responsibilities of the position will consist of; - Responsible for Client and Subcontractor relationships. - Ensure that subcontractor evaluation, selection and management is done in accordance with established procedures. -Budget responsibility and control of all financial aspects of the project - Supervise all project interfaces with other parts of the Company We are seeking a dedicated individual with the following qualifications; - Engineering degree (minimum BSc) - Minimum 5 years relevant offshore experience in a supervisory capacity with good references. - Good communication skills and feeling comfortable to work in an international and multi-cultural environment. - Good command of English, written and spoken - Experience from Norwegian offshore legislation is an advantage For more information about Floatel International and about this position, please visit our website at www.floatel.se
