Who are we?
Volvo Autonomous Solutions is a brand new Business Area within the Volvo Group with the mission to offer transport solutions never seen before. Together we will work on autonomous solutions that will challenge conventions and take us to the future. With entirely new business models and advanced technology we will meet and exceed expectations from customers and contributing to a society we want to live in. We will accelerate the development, commercialization and sales of autonomous transport solutions within the Volvo Group. The position!
 
We are now looking for a Project Manager that will join the team and take the lead in one of our coming Projects. 
We are working in a mix of a traditional project setup and according to agile principles – simply taking the better of two worlds! 
You will work close with our Solutions organization and the end customer in order to understand and capture the expected functionality and operating conditions. Your mission is to lead the execution of the development in the Technology organization and secure the delivery of the technical solution to our Solutions organization and the end customer. You will also secure necessary deliveries from our colleagues in GTT.
 
So who are you?
The profile we are looking for is a senior person that has experience as Project Manager, preferably from L4 development
We believe you are familiar with the SAFE/Agile principles and are ready to apply them in line with our way of working
You have strong social skills; good listener & communicator, it’s easy for you to connect with other people
To be successful in this role we believe you enjoy and believe in teamwork, you are not afraid of the unknown and you have a true ‘can do attitude’



Critical competencies for the position:
You have a solid background in Engineering and come with a minimum of 5 years or more of experience from project management
Relevant knowledge about industrial verticals such as mining, construction, transportation and logistics is a plus.
You are fluent in English and Swedish
Above all, you are a strategic-minded doer, with a passion to break new ground
