ÅR Carton is in an interesting phase with a lot of customer interest in their machinery and packaging solutions. As ÅR Carton Packaging is in the early stage of several large scale projects they need to strengthen their team with an experienced Project Manager. ÅR Cartons packaging machines are state of the art equipment capable of making gas tight packages in high speed for powder products. Their customers are big international groups.
Duties and Account abilities:
You will be involved in all project phases such as development & engineering, validation, manufacturing, installation and ramp up.
As a Project Manager you will work cross functionally with functions such as design, engineering, material and packaging development.
You will have budget responsibility for the project and report directly to Director Machine Systems.
Qualifications and work experience:
We expect you to have a MSc Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent educational background.
Most important is that you possess 5-10 years of documented experience from advanced machinery projects. Proven track record and genuine interest in successfully creating and managing a highly talented, engaged and performing team is required.
Your qualifications include PMP certificate or similar on a university level.
Experience from machine design and development is seen as an advantage.
You have an excellent project management and time management skills. You have exceptional presentation and written/verbal communication skills.
Personal skills:
To be successful you will need to have a strong drive and result orientation pushing trough obstacles and issue in order to deliver on your projects. You understand the relevance of communicating both within your project but also to different stake holders. You are structured and you have demonstrable analytical & problem solving skills, a process improvement orientation, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced and results oriented environment. You also have a flexible management style that can be tailored to address any given situation and it is important that you are a confident decision maker, with a proven ability to negotiate and influence others.
