Project Manager

Your role

We are looking for a project manager to our ongoing training project in the Gripen E/F fighter program.
You will be responsible for development of technical training in accordance with EMAR/RML regulations. You will also coordinate the training activities to our Gripen NG customers. As a part of the coordination duties, you will travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

- Manage the project according to time, cost and scope, set by the steering committee

- Plan and perform customer meetings/activities regarding training

- Coordinate training related activities internally Saab

- Managing risks and opportunities in the project

- Coordinate the project needs to and from other development projects internally Saab



Your profile

You are responsible, self-motivated and initiative as a leader. As project manager in the organization it requires a lot of interaction and cooperation, your social capabilities are of very high importance.

Required skills

- Experience of leading people

- Understanding of aviation regulations

- Good communication skills in English, verbal and written

- Open minded to other cultures and tolerant



To succeed and thrive in the role you are transparent, responsive and willing to share experiences.
It is an advantage if you have educational experience and / or experience to develop training materials.
This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.

You will be a part of

Aviation Services, one of the business units within business area Support and Services. Aviation Services deliver a wide range of services and support solutions for the military and commercial aviation market.
Aviation Technical Training section consists of 15 employees who develop and implement technical training for aircraft technicians and pilots. The section is growing to meet customer needs for training.
