Project Manager CAB

Engineering Partner is a growing consultant company, with offices in Gothenburg, Trollhättan and Södertälje. We provide both consultants on site, and deliver complete assignments within product development together with Swedish and international partners. We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager for our customer within the automotive industry in Gothenburg.

Job description:

The CAB Project and Range Management group has the responsibility for cross functional project management for CAB related pre-studies and projects for both start cost projects and within maintenance. We are now looking for a consultant to work with maintenance topics and from start within pre-study phase.

A PM within CAB is responsible, from project initiation (PCI decision) to project closure (End Gate), for the following main activities and deliveries, in line with agreed product QDCF targets:
-Cross functionally lead the product development work from PCI to EG.
-Compile and report product QDCF status in the project dimension.
-Project documentation (e.g. project description, PAP/PDP, risk register).
-Secure product and project cost target fulfillment including internal and external development cost as well as vendor/purchased tooling.
-Project time plans covering all activities needed to ensure fully verified and validated components, systems and functions (HW/SW).
-Drive and take part in the definition of product content.
-Drive and take part in developing the requirement specification to module level to ensure that the requirements are understood and accepted.
-Break down requirements to components, systems and functions.
-Architecture and packaging for area of responsibility.
-Cross-functionally anchored concepts and technical solutions.
-Engineering releases and other product documentation.
-Verified & validated HW & SW, components, systems and functions.

Skills needed:
-Experience as Project Manager for product projects.
-Experience from the automotive industry is a must and of large vehicles is preferred
?Fluent in English and Swedish both orally and in writing
-Excellent communication and management skills
-Experience of CAB products.
