Would you like to manage the building and refurbishment of Elgiganten stores in Sweden?
The Property department in Elkjøp Nordic/Elgiganten AB is responsible for the construction process and project management of our store projects, from initial project preparation, planning and execution through to the store opening. The Property department manages several dozen store projects every year, accounting for a big part of the company’s investments. This covers new stores, re-building of existing stores as well as upgrades.
The property department is part of the Store Format & Property department, which is responsible for all current and future stores in the Nordics, handling all aspects of creating our stores, i.e., to lease, design, draw, buy, build and maintain every store.
We are now looking to further strengthen our team by adding a top performing Project Manager to the Nordic Property Team.
As a Project manager;
You implement the key elements of our concept to landlords planning of projects, coordinate with external architects, consultants and municipalities.
You will have daily contact with central Nordic functions and work closely with store staff teams to optimize store projects from a cost, time, quality, compliance and sustainability perspective.
You follow up on procurement strategies and establish planning, execution and cost control of projects.
You are responsible for all deliveries to make a fully operational store to opening, for example shopfitting, signage, security, IT and warehouse equipment.
You help existing stores with operational issues regarding the facilities, reducing running costs in stores
To succeed in this position, ideally you have a background as a project manager/site manager from construction or in procurement/sourcing with specialty in construction/real estate.
