Project Manager - Hadoop knowledge

We are looking for a Project manager with excellent knowledge and experience of working with Hadoop for one of the big banks in Sweden.

What will be your responsibilities?
The goal of the project is to establish a Hadoop service (Create data lake/Information management platform) within our client´s organisation

This includes:

Educate and raise the skills/know how within the organization.

Create an architecture that will allow growth over the future

Establish a POC (proof of concept) environment

Establish a delivery organization/process.

Create a service for Hadoop.

Establish an information strategy to reach the stakeholders within the organization.

Drive procurement of Hadoop distribution.

Drive the hardware procurement.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a candidate that has experience from running similar projects (Hadoop is not a requirement, but is a great qualification). Excellent management, communication and presentation skills.

Target oriented and strong driving force.

This is a new team and the project manager will have a lot of contact with all the different divisions within the organization as well as external contacts.

This role requires fluent Swedish. The project will be closed for vacation during week 27-32.
