We are now looking to strengthen a team at Telenor with a project manager, to lead a project related to security and IT/cloud development.



Background/Business context:

Telenor will develop a cloud environment with high automation grade for Telco grade payloads. They have the need for a consultant to lead the development and test - also production deployment of a new cloud platform. The payloads are internal Telenor systems with high security requirements and Telco availability requirements.

Activities to be performed:

- Lead a project with the scope to develop a cloud environment for Telco systems.

- Competencies needed is part of agile teams where each has their own product owner.

- Ready to help with whatever is needed for the project to succeed. Ensure decisions are being made in time.
- Building trust within the project and with the stakeholders of the project. Trust will be backed up by real continuous results as proof points.
- Working actively with opportunities and risks in a good balance.




Required:

- Structured
- Flexible
- Good understanding of a Telco need in the security domain
- General cloud domain competence
- Result oriented
- Good communication skills
- Good understanding of what is needed to be in place on time and how to prioritize if time pressure is too severe.




Preferred:

- Positive can-do attitude
- Experience from Telco
- Strong security focus - on cloud environments in particular
