Project manager - ME Stamping

As a Stamping Project Manager you will work for feasibility and die development within Manufacturing Engineering Stamping at CEVT and Geely. You will provide up front input to both styling and R&D to enable competitive styling, dimensional and perceived quality, manufacturability, and reduced manufacturing complexity.

Responsibilities and tasks

- Driving Process Driven Product design and align the CEVT/Geely ME/SE community to ensure "one voice" of manufacturing requirements to assure the agreed BOP.
- Conducting VCC/Geely press & die standard/requirement are incorporated in product and styling.
- Working in the Stamping feasibility process, give input to resolutions and keep track on all related issues.
- Reporting the stamping targets within CEVT/Geely/VCC.
- Working in close cooperation with Geely SE/ ME and VCC.
- Body in White Project work, ECR’s purchased parts, manage, distribute and follow up articles in the team.
- Closure Project work, ECR’s purchased parts, manage, distribute and follow up articles in the team.
- Give and analyze product criticism during running projects.

Requirements

- Bsc in engineering
- Detailed knowledge in automotive design
- Knowledge of requirement setting for NVH.
- Ability to act on non-physical input only, such as CAD data and CAE results.
- Ability to interpret, understand and act on test data.
- Experience from working in Team Center.
- Fluency in English both written and spoken.
- Good understanding of customer needs.
- You are willing to help others and to ask for help when needed.
- You have an openness and awareness of Asian, European and foreign cultures
- You have a strong drive and engagement.
- You are self-going and self-learning.

- Ability to travel
