Project Manager, Nordic Markets Project Office

Nasdaq OMX is currently looking for a Project Manager to join the Nordic Markets Project Office. You will be part of a team with skilled project managers who manages IT projects for new business initiatives for our Clearing house and Nordic Markets. You will manage cross-organizational project teams that involve staff from Software Development, IT Operation, Market Operation and the business units for the different markets. In the teams you will work with highly motivated and skilled colleagues in a truly international environment

The role:
You will manage IT projects of varying size, typically 20 to 50 thousand hours, with high complexity and business criticality. The projects impact a number of systems, include significant business change or transformation and cover all the phases from design study to market readiness and go-live. Usually the projects include functionality to grow our business, improve efficiency or comply with new regulations.

General responsibilities:
? Plan the project and monitor its progress, resolve issues and initiate corrective actions
? Build, manage and motivate the project team
? Ensure project deliveries to the appropriate levels of quality, on time and within budget
? Communicate with all stake holders
? Manage the risk to the project?s successful outcome
? Report progress of the project at regular interval to a steering committee

Qualifications:
? Academic degree in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
? 5 years of experience from Project Management of IT solutions
? Excellent language skills in written and spoken English and Swedish
? Interest in building knowledge in trading, clearing and settlement and risk management

To suit this position you have solid leadership qualities and collaboration skills and you are comfortable with leading managers and different types of personalities. You are also born a structured organizer with an eye for all potential lose ends.

You will need to be ?hands on? in your approach and enjoy a fast pace working environment. Further, you will have strong communication skills ideally with experience of working with business stakeholders of all levels and the ability to influence people through the project process.

This is a permanent full time position located in Stockholm but may require some traveling. Desired start date is as soon as possible.
