We are looking for a Project Manager to join the PMO-team within our global R&D organization. We are in the process of expanding the responsibility for the Project Management Office to lead projects and having Project Managers at multi-sites (Europe & US). Our projects include mechanical, electronics and software engineering. Being in the MedTech environment many of our processes are governed by regulations and have a strong focus on risk assessment.

About the position

As Project Manager within Group R&D, your key duty is to ensure that your projects deliver on the product road map according to expectations on time, budget and with excellent quality. You lead the project team members in the successful completion of their assigned tasks. In addition, you must ensure that all team members have sufficient financial and reporting governance and that all risks and opportunities are properly addressed.

In addition to this, you are expected to contribute to our continuous work in developing our processes. All in all, to be an even better supplier of the world's greatest power wheelchair to anyone who needs it.

About you

To be a successful project manager you will need to have a strong drive and result orientation pushing through obstacles and issues to deliver on your project goals. You understand the relevance of communicating both within your project but also to different stakeholders. You are structured and have analytical & problem-solving skills and a process improvement orientation. You can prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast paced and result oriented environment. It is important that you are a confident decision maker, with a proven ability to negotiate and influence others.

We believe that you hold an MSc in Engineering, or equivalent, together with a few years of working as a project manager.

You have experience in managing projects end-to-end, i.e. from pre study and concept phase to deployment and production. Experience from Medical Device development area or from the automotive industry is a desired background.

You are technically minded and speak fluent English. You also have good writing skills in Swedish and English.

The position is in based Timrå and may include travelling.
