Project Manager Supply Chain to Alfa Laval Lund

Main responsibilities You will be part of a strategically important and energetic project management organisation located in Operations Development - a centralised department reporting directly to the Alfa Laval Operations Group.You will be responsible for developing and implementing major supply chain projects and process improvement projects in a global context.Your primary focus will be on cross functional process improvements.You will be in charge of several different projects at the same time that typically involve several parts of the organisation.You will act as a consultant and partner at strategic, tactical and operational levels.You will be the driving force behind processes of change and optimisation; you will work highly independently as project manager and, in some cases, as part of a project team.Some of your counterparts are at management level, so your assignments can be strategically oriented.You have the opportunity to create visible results in a global context. Qualifications Your educational background is of bachelor level or higher, possibly in engineering.Or you may have an M.Sc.in business or supply chain management.You have several years' of experience working with supply chains or logistics.Previous experience in a consultant function or as project manager for larger supply chain/process improvement projects is a clear advantage.Personally, you are accustomed to seeing opportunities rather than limitations and you know how to navigate on all levels of an organisation.You have a consultant approach towards larger complex projects and are motivated by both finding solutions and executing the projects with a good diplomatic sense.
