Project Manager – Technical Cleanliness in the whole value chain

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

The development of new engines and engine platforms require new improved production processes and working methods. The area of Technical cleanliness is essential through the whole value chain to move to the next level of the sustainable engine with longer life time, lower fuel consumption and less emission.

We are now looking for a skilled project manager with high interest in technical cleanliness and with a will to move the product development and the production of engines to the next level.

As project manager for technical cleanliness, you will be organized in the development department and report to a cross functional team of department managers heading development, production and purchasing.

Main Responsibilities
In the position as project manager you will lead and participate in a cross functional team, you will challenge todays way of thinking and acting, you will create and push for improved strategies and processes.

You work closely with both our core team of experts and project managers for the teams in the different departments. You will also manage the work to maintain and anchor the short and long term roadmap for the cleanliness program.

Your Profile
We believe that you have a university degree and documented experience of managing complex projects.  
Furthermore, it is beneficial if you have knowledge about Scania’s business and processes. We prefer if you have experience in the field of technical cleanliness or are a fast learner with a deep interest to learn more about technical cleanliness and work with future cleanliness strategies.

The cooperation within the whole Volkswagen group is essential and all sources for knowledge should be used in the work to create a sustainable cleanliness policy through the whole value change. This means that you are fluent in Swedish and manage the English language in a very good way.
 
To succeed in the role, you need social and analytic skills. You are used to take own initiatives to create and maintain structures. You want to create an overall perspective and see wholeness.
