A communicative Project Manager who enjoys creating structure and transparency. The co-ordination of a number of tasks and smaller projects and a drive for delivering project scope is essential.



Your role

As a project and task manager for Special Mission and Regional Aircraft (SMRA), you will work together with our internal and final customer and our engineering team, managing aircraft modification and support projects.

This position entails responsibility for driving a number of aircraft support and modification tasks and projects. Driving a number of smaller tasks, producing the cost and schedule estimates, resource coordination, defining delivery plans, risk and opportunity assessments and ensuring that Saab's project and airworthiness processes are followed. You will play a key role in delivering task and project scope on time, and within budget. This may include presentations to contract owners on project updates and expected results.

Over time, the project management tasks will vary in both complexity and scope and we will together set your individual development plan according to your earlier experiences and career interests.



Your profile

We are looking for a driven leader with the ability to both see the big picture and manage multiple small projects. You need to be able to come into the system quickly, prioritise and assist others when needed. You are a good communicator with the ability to create trust and commitment among those in your team and project stakeholders.
For this job, you need to be organized and able to manage yourself and your project resources.
You strive to identify new possibilities, challenges and ways to be more efficient and you act on them.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

SMRA is now in an intensive phase with several Special Mission and Civil delivery projects ongoing.
Our business aims to establish and support the customer capability to operate and maintain world class systems like Global Eye, SK60, Saab 340 and 2000.
