Project Planners, Plant Projects (ref.5871/5872)

Basic functions: Project Planner is a part of the project team that has the mission to fulfil all contractual demands ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction. These projects are Nuclear Plant Projects, which are characterized by high quality demands, complexity and commitments over a long time. The missions for Project Planner are: Scheduling and resource planning of all the specific activities in connection with the various project deliveries in close cooperation with the Consortium Main planning. Scheduling deadlines with consideration of dependencies to make sure that the main milestones of the project are programmed in advance. Providing Project Manager with demands generated from Consortium Main planning. Establishing an adequate breakdown to sub-project level ensuring an efficient follow-up. Masters time schedule development process using appropriate tools, such as Critical Path Analysis (CPA) Progress reporting to Project Manager, including all sub-projects. Progress surveillance regarding progress in generation and approval of documentation. Analysing and communicating upcoming critical activities. Supporting Project Manager in expediting the progress of Sub-Project's Contract Milestones. Project Planner reports in all Sub-Project related items directly to Project Manager and in functional matters to the Technical Coordinator of Consortium Management. You will work in an international environment, which requires some travelling and that you are comfortable with the English language. Key Skills and Requirements: B.Sc, or M. Sc. or High school degree, at least 5 years experience of project planning. More than 3 years experience of Project planning in large complex project, e.g. in power generation, infrastructure or process industry is required. Experience from Nuclear industry is an advantage as well as experience of planning tools PRIMA VERA .
