Volvo Customer Solutions is globally responsible for the soft product projects process within the Volvo Construction Equipment. The soft product project process covers the whole project scope from the start of a soft product project until the end of the project. The soft product is developed and launched together with Volvo CE Sales Regions on the relevant markets for our customers and dealers.

The resources and interfaces for soft product projects and related processes can involve people from various sites within Volvo AB. This means that travelling may be required.

Job description

• Manage the soft product projects portfolio plan and gate calendar
• Drive needed planning steps to make sure the projects portfolio plan is aligned with the soft product plan
• Drive the resource balancing and prioritization of the projects portfolio together with the relevant stakeholders within Customer Solutions and VCE
• Be the process leader for the projects process and drive the continuous improvement
• Process leader and main interface for S-GDP
• Drive the soft projects forum - a best practice forum 
• Manage and drive the development of the soft products projects team place 
• Ensure that the project process is followed
• Support in the department budget process
• Support the projects Team leader to inspire, coach and develop the team members
• Contribute to that the departmental and soft steering committee targets are met
• Participate in relevant reference groups and forums

Required Qualifications / Attributes

• Proven experience in process mapping and change management
• Experience in running complex projects
• Good knowledge of customer application requirements and industry issues for construction equipment
• Strong leadership skills
• Business driven mindset and holistic approach
• Excellent communication skills
• Organized and structured
• Good prioritization skills
• Good knowledge about GDP, S-GDP and IS-GDP is a merit
• Excellent skills in relevant soft wares (MS Project, SAP, MS Office)
• Excellent skills in working with team place applications
