We are looking for a Prototype Buyer/ Coordinator to join our Chassis & Metal Purchasing team. We are 8 employees responsible for project coordination and the procurement of prototypes supporting Scania’s development projects as well as supporting our purchasers in the Forward Sourcing Process. In the team we get on well together, support each other and have fun.

Your tasks

You will be responsible for purchasing prototypes and to coordinate the delivery of them at the purchasing department Chassis & Metal, focusing on purchasing’s responsibilities and deliverables during product development.

You will have many interfaces and contacts within Scania and connect the technical and with the business, working with teams across Engineering , Purchasing and Production.

Your profile

You have a university degree in engineering, business administration or similar.

As your work includes a lot of interactions at different levels, both within purchasing and cross-functionally, it is important that you are a team player, have the ability to build trust and that you are clear in your communication with others. As a person you are proactive, structured and flexible.

You are eager to develop yourself and your role, and you feel comfortable challenging yourself and others in order to achieve the best result – you present solutions instead of obstacles.  

You are fluent in English and Swedish.
