Purchasers to EM möbler in Skånes Fagerhult

We are now recruiting Purchasers

This is an exciting opportunity. EM is in a start-up-position due to a reorganization and relocation of our main office to Skånes Fagerhult. There are many new ideas and possibilities to develop while working with this well know brand.

Your experience

- At least 5 years experience from International Purchasing
- Preferably you have worked with specific materials - upholstry, wood and textiles
- Previous Experience from furniture purchasing would be valued

Job Summary
To take operational leadership in purchasing within the frames of the purchasing strategy

Main tasks

- Optimize sourcing, investigate and implement future sourcing possibilities in collaboration with range development.
- Source suppliers for materials
- Sign contracts, negotiate prices and place orders
- Set up packaging for all new and running products
- Audit and monitor suppliers.
- Work with suppliers building a relationship and achieving goals
- Initiate and lead cost saving initiatives
- Monitoring costs and take action to minimise expenditure and secure lowest total cost for products.
- Secure quality of product.
- Secure sustainability within the purchasing process.
- Handle claims with suppliers
- Administrate all purchasing as per defined process and documents
- Work with suppliers on technical questions

Job Information
Location is Skånes Fagerhult, full-time, regular ?tillsvidare? employment with desired start date September 2013.
This position will require that you are available to travel.
Good level of English written and spoken is required.
