QA Automation Engineer - embedded IoT solutions

Job description

Sigma Connectivity has an opening for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to help us test embedded software applications for home audio and smart connected solutions now under development. In this role, you'll focus on building and maintaining test automation frameworks for embedded software projects. The scope of this role could eventually expand to include software development for the actual products as well.

Basic qualifications

Ideal candidates should have the following skills and experience:


B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent

3+ years of experience in software development

Experience coding in embedded C and C++

Knowledge of high-level scripting languages, such as Python, Java or C#

Knowledge and experience with test automation tools and protocols (Matter preferred)

Experience with Gerrit, Git and Jenkins

Electronics knowledge

Experience or knowledge of real-time embedded firmware for IoT applications

Experience with any of the following operation systems: Embedded Android, Embedded Linux, FreeRTOS, NVIDIA DRIVE and/or Zephyr
