QA Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer on behalf of LumenRadio in Gothenburg. In this role, you are responsible for their Continuous Integration system with a Hardware In the Loop.
LumenRadio develop the next generation of IoT products for wireless lightning systems, while also enabling connectivity for the Internet of Things (IoT) and M2M. Their patented technology is used in Hollywood movie productions (such as Star Wars), large-scale smart lighting and building automation solutions, and also in heavy industry applications.
The role
You will have QA responsibility for all LumenRadio’s embedded products and deliveries. Ultimately, you will ensure that their wireless products and applications work correctly.
The position requires responsibility as well as plenty of own initiative when it comes to influencing and achieving results. We also think your passion for technology goes hand in hand with your curiosity for new products and willingness to stay up-to-date with the IoT market.

Responsibilities
Outline and refine our test strategies and test plans
Further develop our existing test framework with CI (Continuous Integration) and HIL (Hardware In the Loop) in line with the set strategy
Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective ways of working in the whole design cycle
Execute test cases, analyse results and handle test reports
Responsibility for release testing
Report bugs and errors to development teams and help troubleshoot issues
Ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle

Qualifications
Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester/Responsible of embedded systems minimum 3-5 years, radio knowledge is considered as an advantage
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
Working knowledge of test framework software
Excellent in cooperation and communication skills
Responsible and goal-oriented person
Minimum BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
Fluent in English, both spoken and written (desirable if you also speak Swedish)
