You will play an important role in our innovative Quality Development Team at NKT in Karlskrona. The role as Quality Engineer will focus on the processes along our value chain from order through production, installation to test of the cable system.
Your area of responsibility is to independently and continuously secure, improve and coordinate product quality-related issues with a focus on proactively eliminating causes and reducing overall cost with analytical skills together with NKT co-workers.
Your tasks in the role will include:
* Independently and analytically lead root cause analysis
* Contribute to reduction of Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ)
* Improve our way of working towards doing right the first time
* Efficiently strive for improvement of our processes to reduce Non-Conformities
You will coordinate improvement projects based on quality analyses and implement them throughout the organization. When product and processes are at risk you take initiative and adjust existing processes and way of working.
Effective time management and ability to set priorities
To be successful in this role, we believe that you work in a positive manner and have outstanding analytical skills. You have no trouble with communicating at all levels within and outside of the organization and is referred to by others as someone who present their opinion in an educational way.
Additionally, your CV includes:
* Former experience within an equivalent position within the manufacturing or construction industry
* Bachelor engineer degree with quality focus or similar
* Experience from working with quality tools like 5-Why, 8D or equal - Six sigma, lean etc
* MS office, Excel (minitab) experience
* Fluent in English and Swedish
* Experience from leading root case analysis or improvements projects
Taking initiatives and handle many things at the same time is natural to you and so is working in a structured way with analysis and improvements.
