Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.Scania Battery production is growing and The Quality Department is hiring, we are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team.

Today we are running the production for the existing battery pack as well as the prototypes for the next generations of packs and modules and the production of VCB cables at two different sites. In addition, we will soon inaugurate the new battery assembly plant and the plant is located adjacent to the chassis assembly plant.
Who we are
Battery Quality Team (MEQT) is a group responsible for Quality and the group consists of Quality Assurance Engineers, Quality Team Coordinators, Quality Technicians, Measurement Technicians, Adjusters, and of course Quality Engineers. A highly qualified group with great team spirit.
Job position
You will develop, define, and implement the quality standards and procedures. You will work with APQP tools (PPAP, D/PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, etc).
Jobs responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Develop and support PFMEAs, process flow charts, and conducting MSAs
• Prepare and submit PPAP documents
• Define and produce the Quality Control plans for each process operation
• Set up quality monitoring procedures and quality KPIs
• Initiate and participate in continuous improvement activities with production and R&D.
• Handle deviations from production and assist in the investigation of customer complaints and carry out corrective actions and root cause analysis, e.g., DMAIC or 8D.
• Present and clarify quality problems through non-conformance processes, and interpret and report results.
• Collaborate and work closely with R&D and different parts of the Battery Production
Requirements:
The ideal candidate has a BSc in Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience. Good communication skills and an interest in digitalization are key. You need to be fluent in English, and speaking and writing Swedish is merit. Work experience in Scania production and experience in Power BI is merit.
