Our anonymised customer, e.g. the employer for this position, is located in Luleå in the northern part of Sweden. It's a global center of excellence and the company is located in 80 countries with a total of 6,800 employees.

 

We are now recruiting an QUALITY ENGINEER.
As a quality engineer your role is to be responsible for investigating, refining and agreeing with line managers the scope of project proposal in order to deliver measurable improvements to the business. You work with the the quality assurance process (QA) and regulatory affairs process (RA) throughout the company, supporting various functions.

 

Main duties and responsibilities:
Serves as a primary point of contact for quality, regulatory, and environmental related matters.
Serves as a team member in cross-functional improvement project teams which develops and implements practical solutions.
Ensures appropriate key performance indexes are defined and implemented for processes and procedures within a focused area.
Drives data analysis of quality performance to identify high priority issues relating to safety, complaints and systemic customer satisfaction.
Provides training to ensure proper implementation and use of quality methods, tools and procedures as required.
Enables rapid and effective correction of quality/regulatory/environmental problems in a manner that prevents their reoccurrence.
Manages the management system within software applications.
Manages internal and supplier audits.
Assists in other quality, regulatory and environmental areas if required.




Who are you?
We see that you respond to the following standards:
B.S. in Engineering/equivalent international degree with at least 2 years of related experience required or B.S. in non-technical discipline/equivalent international degree with at least 4 years of related experience required.
Experience of using quality methods and tools.
Fluent in English, spoken and written

If you also meet the following qualifications, it would be extraordinarily:
Quality/Regulatory/Environmental experience.
Six Sigma Yellow belt training and experience.
Quality auditor training and experience.
Proficient with ISO Quality System Standards
Working knowledge of the Quality System Regulation.
Proven ability to resolve issues.
Excellent analytical decision making and problem solving skills.
Extensive knowledge of quality methods and tools.
Track record of business and customer orientation.
Excellent computer literacy skills.
Effective presentation/communication skills, project/resource management skills.
Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
