Quantitative analyst

Our future department Portfolio Management in Malmö is looking for a Quantitative analyst

Responsibilities
Portfolio Management will handle commodity risks inherent from regional unit Sweden and our customers. Main tasks include hedging, risk management and marketing of sales and generation flows. The department will work closely together with Market Operations who will transact physical and financial trades using relevant market places and counterparties.

This is a unit with a clear ambition to excel in in what we do. We offer you the chance to shape and develop our risk management strategies together with a very experienced team. Based on your quantitative skills, we expect you to contribute in the analysis of new business opportunities as well as portfolio optimization decisions.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role would require extensive quantitative skills applicable in the financial market, pricing or forward curve modelling skills, programming skills using e.g. Matlab, experience from ETRM systems, i.e. deal capture and PM systems, a clear commercial mind-set and business interest.
In addition we would like you to have some of the following competences/skills:Experience from commodity business e.g. risk management, trading, optimization or modelling, relevant education, portfolio management skills and a basic understanding of the risks which occur in a utility.
