As a Range Leader for our matrix organization Range, Design & Development you are part of leading and facilitating the development of the total range offer within the IKEA launch end to end.
We are therefore looking for someone who can ensure an outstanding development of the range offer according to the IKEA Democratic Design objectives, by engaging all stakeholders and inspiring the team. Furthermore the Range Leader will create growth and position IKEA through project managing the range launches within IKEA?s Launch & Activity Calendar. To drive the development and execution of the total launch with the key message and total offer in mind is also of importance in this role. A successful Range Leader is creative, curious and courageous and driven with a constant urge to improve and to develop the business. Understands the importance of delivering on goals with focus on time and with involvement of others. Sees the bigger picture of product creation, leads and influences others to develop the IKEA overall range direction and product offer.

As a Range leader you are responsible for:
-Leading the execution of actions based on IKEA?s launch and Activity calendar or project plans
-To define the project governance and key stakeholders, and to prepare the project plans to secure approval
-Formulate clear goals and objective for a launch and to communicate these to stakeholders
-Define resources and roles needed for realization of actions and plans as well as to involve key functions to review and secure decision points
-To communicate and anchor the IKEA launch through the value chain
-To analyze the risk/s and mitigate appropriate actions to ensure a timely development, execution and follow up
-Developing tools and methodology, reporting and follow up

Interested?
The Range leader is a position that requires deep knowledge of both Range and Business as well as extensive knowledge of the total value chain, market, competitors and suppliers. Significant experience of working as a Project Leader in an IKEA country level or other IKEA unit or if external on a country level or another global unit. Comfortable working in a leadership role, leading senior leaders in an informal environment. The ability to build good and strong relations between people, creating a trustful and creative working environment based on the IKEA values.

To be successful in this role, you must have:
-Knowledge, experience and feeling for home furnishings, customer needs designs, style and trends
-Ability to communicate in a clear and inspiring way
-Knowledge and ability project lead and manage by setting clear expectations and providing clear direction
-Social capability with a focus on building good and strong relations between people, creating a trustful and creative working environment
-Ability to move smoothly from assessing the bigger picture to seeing the small details
-High capacity to think outside the box together with an analytical and structured approach
-Excellence in securing both the business and people development
